Rosh Hashanah (literally ”Head of the Year”), is the Jewish New Year. This expression "rosh hashanah," appears in the Bible only once in Ezekiel 40:1 but it is not clear of what month is speaking of. This day of first of the seventh biblical month is known as "Yom Zikaron Teruah" - Day of Memorial of Blowing (Leviticus 23:24) or the Feast of Trumpets. It is also called the Day of Judgment and the Day of Memorial.
